Be Inspirational

You know that you are doing something right when you are able to inspire other people rather than making them feel bad about themselves.

One of the most profound things you can do for others is to inspire them to reach their full potential. To help them achieve their true greatness. To make them realize the reason why on earth they are here.

But you cannot become inspirational if you yourself are not inspired. Inspiration begins within you and how you think.

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things.” Philippians 4:8

This concept can be compared to a glass full of water. You are the glass and the water is inspiration. When your life is full of it, time comes that it will overflow and surge out from the brim.

If you are filled with hatred, unforgiveness, and indifference, then you will emit those vibes. If you are filled with love, compassion, and inspiration, then those things will shine out of you as well.

Here are some signs that you are being inspirational:

1. You are always kind

Your patience is obvious and you don’t think badly of others. You do or give something good without expecting anything in return. You speak softly and gently most of the time, and only raise your voice with authority whenever you want to proclaim the truth.

2. You are always considerate

You easily empathize with people and understand their feelings. You care more about people than money. You are willing to gently teach others how to grow in all areas of their lives. You have a higher sense of ethics, sincerity, and grace.

3. You are always appreciative

Whining and complaining are unfamiliar to you. You can see the good even in terrible circumstances. You understand that a favor is a privilege and not an entitlement. You are not hesitant to give praise.

We can examine ourselves right now in light of these three things. Let us become a source of inspiration rather than of pain and discouragement. Others need it more than you think.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11
